Always On Call Answering Service, LLC is a family owned and operated telephone answering service headquartered in Concord, New Hampshire specializing in representing hundreds of business professionals throughout North America. Always On Call provides telephone answering service solutions 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. We are always open, including all holidays, and never close for any reason. Tele-receptionists typically work 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day on either morning or evening shifts. Part time shifts may be available during peak times or on weekends.

Requirements and Qualifications

Tele-receptionists are responsible for processing all calls on all clients' telephone lines in an efficient, effective, and courteous manner. You must be able to follow all instructions and procedures necessary for answering, handling, and dispatching such calls according to the information available with respect to each account. The basic process is three steps:

  • Answer the phone professionally with a caring and compassionate demeanor.
  • Take the message accurately and completely per our customer's instructions.
  • Deliver the message timely to the appropriate or on-call person utilizing the methods instructed by the client.

All employees and potential employees MUST offer a pleasant, professional, and compassionate attitude with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, detail oriented environment. Accurate and proficient typing skills are required. All employees must be dependable and absolutely cannot miss their scheduled work shifts. It is essential that we have enough experienced Tele-receptionists on duty at all times.

Expectations of the interview:

The interview process takes roughly an hour and a half to complete. A typing, spelling, and comprehension test that is sanctioned by the Association of Teleservices International will be given during the interview process. Applications and any other company documentation are not permitted to leave the office under any circumstances.
